In recognition of their pivotal role, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of the CO—100: America’s Top 100 Small Businesses, a prestigious awards program aimed at honoring the nation’s most innovative and impactful small and mid-sized enterprises.
According to research from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, small businesses represent 43.5% of America’s GDP, yet their contributions often go unrecognized amidst economic uncertainties. The CO—100 seeks to change that narrative by spotlighting businesses that drive innovation, foster community growth, and exemplify resilience in challenging times.

The CO—100 is not just about business success metrics; it celebrates a holistic view of entrepreneurship, encompassing ideas, challenges, community impact, company culture, and customer relationships. This exclusive list, curated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its award-winning digital platform CO—, identifies 100 standout businesses that excel in categories such as Growth Accelerators, Community Champions, Digital Innovators, and more.
“Our awards program is a tribute to the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels our economy and enriches our communities,” Mulvey continued. “We are dedicated to showcasing the diverse talents and achievements of America’s small business owners who inspire with their creativity and dedication.”
The CO—100 offers substantial benefits to honorees, including a one-year paid membership to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, access to top industry experts and thought leaders, exclusive networking opportunities, and national media exposure. Winners will be celebrated at an exclusive gala event on October 8 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Washington, D.C. In addition to individual category recognition, ten businesses will each receive $2,000 and a feature article on the CO— website. Small businesses with fewer than 250 employees or gross revenues under $20 million in 2022 and 2023 are eligible to apply for the CO—100.
