On October 13, 2021 the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office notified Central Alabama Crime Stoppers of three runaways from the Boys & Girls Club. The two girls and one boy ages ranging from 14 to 16 had runaway and investigators were attempting to locate them.
On October 14, 2021 the three juveniles were located by the Oxford Police Department and immediately detained. Responding officers learned that they had met with another juvenile runaway from Attalla, AL who was driving a white vehicle. Officers identified the driver and were able to locate him and took him into custody to be charged with Assault 1st and Criminal Mischief.
The three juveniles were turned back over to their proper guardians and the driver was turned over to a Coosa County Juvenile Officer.
