Anniston, AL – The City of Anniston Finance Department is hereby giving 30 days notice to all delinquent garbage account holders to please contact the revenue compliance specialist in order to set up a payment plan on past due garbage bill balances as soon as possible. At this time, 1,637 accounts remain delinquent. Starting August 1, 2023, Republic Services will begin to collect garbage cans from all residences with delinquent accounts who have made no contact with the City of Anniston to rectify their past due balance.
