Coosa Valley, AL – ClearWater Solutions (CWS), a provider of water and wastewater management services, announced that the Coosa Valley Water Supply District (CVWSD) has received the Area-Wide Optimization Program “Three Year Optimized Plant Award for 2022–2024” from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM).
According to CWS, the award recognizes the facility’s consistent achievement of optimization goals for microbial removal, as outlined by ADEM’s Drinking Water Branch Optimization Program and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 4. The program evaluates drinking water treatment plants on their ability to exceed regulatory requirements and maintain high standards for public health protection.

CWS has provided full operations and maintenance services to the Coosa Valley Water Supply District since October 2011. During that time, the system has received multiple state-level honors, including awards for best operated plant, award of excellence, best operated distribution system, and several area-wide optimization recognitions.
The three-year optimization award highlights sustained performance over an extended period and reflects continued adherence to regulatory standards, operational efficiency, and public health protection, according to CWS.
