CHILDERSBURG — Weaver’s boys and girls swept the night at the Childersburg quad Thursday.
The boys beat Childersberg 64-6, Prattville Christian 43-27 and Oak Grove 43-35 to improve to 12-1 in duals.
Weaver’s Brayden Scott (106 pounds), Haiden Hise (138), Dylan Brown (165), Gianluca Torres (175), Dalton Fink (190) and Zachary Hooks (215) went 3-0 tonight.
Weaver’s girls beat Childersberg 54-0 and Oak Grove 54-0 to improve to 4-0.
Sarah Gokey (100), Josie Gochenouer (107), Ali Anderson (114), Jaylee Carter (120), Ashlyn Coleman (132), Ariel Sargent (138), Caitlyn Edmondson (145), Nevaeh Cobb (152) and Heaven Bishop (165) went 2-0.
CLEBURNE COUNTY: At Heflin, Cleburne County’s boys beat Oxford 66-14, Woodland 78-6 and Saks 59-22 to improve to 13-0 in duals.
The Tigers’ undefeated wrestlers on the night included Tyler Primeaux (106 pounds), Connor Causey (113), Owen Young (126), Liam Mays (138), Laken Stanley (144), Cael Fulmer (150), Kendall Miller (190), Kolton Haynes (215) and Zander Martin (285).
