Oxford, AL – Oxford residents interested in pursuing a career in commercial construction now have a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills through a free 12-week training program offered by CREATE. The program, funded by a grant from the Alabama Construction Industry Craft Training Board, provides hands-on instruction in several areas, including commercial carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and welding.
Classes will be held twice a week, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., starting on February 3, 2025, at CREATE, located at 1 Cliff Garrett Drive, Oxford, AL 36203.
The program is open to all adults aged 18 and older, with each class limited to 15 students to ensure a focused and practical learning environment.
