OXFORD, AL – Downtown Oxford will transform into a scene straight out of Gilmore Girls on Saturday, October 25, 2025, as the Firefly Festival lights up Simmons Park from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Inspired by the beloved television series, the festival aims to capture the cozy, caffeine-fueled atmosphere of small-town life. Guests can expect twinkling lights, themed photo ops, live music, and an abundance of coffee. Hand-picked vendors will offer unique finds and local treats, creating a marketplace filled with creativity and community spirit.
Organized by Madi Lou’s Boutique, Events at Onyx & Opal, and Southern Girl Coffee Co., the event promises a day of laughter, live entertainment, and laid-back fun reminiscent of Stars Hollow. While not affiliated with Historic Main Street Oxford, the organizers hope the festival will highlight the charm and hospitality of Oxford’s downtown district.
From coffee lovers to festival-goers seeking a bit of whimsy, the Firefly Festival invites everyone to stroll through downtown, enjoy the small-town magic, and embrace a day of “Gilmore”-style celebration.
