Free Line Dancing Classes inJacksonville and Weaver

Calhoun County, AL – If you are interested in learning or participating in line dancing then you are in luck! Connie McRae offers free line dancing lessons each Tuesdays and Thursdays (the Thursday class will resume on 7/11) at On Tuesday the classes run from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Weaver Community Center and the Thursday classes start at 6:30 pm. For more information on these classes feel free to reach out through the facebook page – Hooping with a Twist of Line. Mrs. McRae stated, “I teach new, old, and party line dances and to all genres of music. We just had our first line dance social with the NoAlan and are working on making it a monthly thing! For me the line dance community is amazing. No matter where you’re from, where you learn we all end up coming together! And are always learning! It’s a fun variation of alternate fitness!”

There is also line dancing at Carver Community Center in Anniston. Line dancing occurs every Monday from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at the Carver Community Center. For more information contact: 256-231-7630.

In Jacksonville new classes are now being offered for free at the Jacksonville Community Center. This class is also on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm and is taught by Gayla and Lee VanFleet.

All classes are open to all ages and skill level. If you are looking for something fun to do or to learn a new skill come out to one of these free classes.
