Oxford, AL – The City of Oxford Spokeswoman, Lorie Denton, shared that the City of Oxford and Shivaay Oxford, LLC will host a groundbreaking ceremony for Candlewood Suites Oxford, an IHG Hotel, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 12:00 PM at 1381 Boiling Springs Road, Oxford, Alabama 36203 (Located across from Choccolocco Park)
Shivaay Oxford currently owns and operates three Alabama hotels in Oxford, Madison, and Pell City, with an additional one planned. Anticipated Candlewood Suites will cost approximately $11 million and will create an additional 15 new jobs in Oxford, AL. Candlewood Suites is an all-suite, extended-stay hotel.
