JACKSONVILLE, AL — The Jacksonville Public Library is inviting local youth to a special art event on Saturday, June 14 at 1:00 p.m. The event, titled Black Light Painting for Tweens and Teens, is open to individuals ages 10 to 18 and offers a creative, interactive experience in a unique glowing environment.

Participants will explore the vibrant world of fluorescent art under black lights, using provided materials to create their own glowing masterpieces. The session is designed to encourage self-expression while introducing attendees to a fun twist on traditional painting.

Space for the event is limited, and registration is required. Interested participants can call or visit the library to sign up beginning June 3. All art supplies will be provided, and no previous experience is necessary.

The program is part of the Jacksonville Public Library’s ongoing efforts to provide engaging summer activities for local youth.
