JACKSONVILLE, AL — The Jacksonville Public Library is celebrating Halloween with a creative twist this weekend. On Saturday, October 25, at 11 a.m., the library will host a Teen Blacklight Pumpkin Painting event at its location, 200 Pelham Road South in Jacksonville.
Designed for ages 12–18, the event invites local teens to enjoy a fun and festive morning of painting pumpkins under blacklights, creating glowing works of art in the spirit of the season. The program blends creativity with Halloween excitement, providing a safe and engaging space for young artists to express themselves.
Registration for the event opened October 14, and spots are limited. The library encourages early registration to ensure participation.
