“This partnership with Sanders Flight Training Center represents an important next step in the growth of our Aviation program,” said Dr. Don C. Killingsworth Jr., President of Jacksonville State University. “Their long track record in flight training gives our students access to consistent, hands-on instruction and mentorship that builds a strong understanding of aviation, with a clear emphasis on safety and leadership.”

Founded in 1996 by Joseph Gordon Sanders Jr., Sanders Flight Training Center began as a small operation at Walker County Airport-Bevill Field in Jasper and has expanded to include additional training locations in Tuscaloosa and Huntsville.
