FORT PAYNE, AL – Jacksonville State University will present the 12th Annual Bluegrass on the Rim concert on Saturday, June 14, at the Little River Canyon Center, offering an evening of live music, southern food, and scenic outdoor enjoyment.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. This year’s performance will feature acclaimed bluegrass acts Kristy Cox & Grasstime and Foggy Hollow Review. The family-friendly event is designed for all ages and welcomes the general public, including JSU alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
The concert takes place in an outdoor venue, and attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets for seating. Leashed pets and coolers are permitted, and food will be available for purchase from Ol’ Tymers BBQ, a popular southern-style vendor known for its traditional offerings.
Advance ticket prices are $25 for adults and $20 for students. Day-of-show pricing increases to $30 for adults and $25 for students. Children 10 and under may attend for free. Tickets are available online through the JSU ticket portal.
The event is sponsored by the JSU Little River Canyon Center and is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and cultural programming in northeast Alabama.
