MCIS Wins National Honors

Jacksonville, AL – Per the JSU media department students and faculty in the Department of Mathematical, Computing and Information Sciences (MCIS) recently traveled to Molloy University in New York for the national convention of Kappa Mu Epsilon (KME) mathematics honor society. At the event, JSU was awarded the coveted Rhonda McKee and Don Tosh Outstanding KME Chapter Award and math major Dakota Heathcock gave a presentation on Bayesian statistics.
