- Jacksonville, AL – The City of Jacksonville is gearing up for its annual Independence Day celebration, Jax Fest, set to take place on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Jacksonville High School. The event will kick off at 6:00 p.m., with gates opening to the public at 5:00 p.m. and food trucks beginning service by 5:30 p.m. The celebration will culminate with a fireworks show scheduled for 9:00 p.m.
Jax Fest will feature a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy live music, local vendors, and a wide selection of food trucks. Family-friendly attractions include a petting zoo, bounce houses, free train rides, New Level Pro Wrestling, games, and the ever-popular foam party.
Admission to the event is free, and the city has announced that all vendor and food truck slots for the festival have already been filled.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and come out to enjoy an evening of community celebration.
