The benefits are endless ranging from physical to mental. Doing  regular yoga improves balance and stability which can be lost when people become stagnant in their lives. It also helps improve flexibility, joint health, and range of motion through the ranging of different potions and methods offered by the instructor. Yoga can even improve respiration and reduce high blood pressure in some cases and can reduce anxiety and encouraged mindfulness.

The yoga class for seniors is offered on Mondays at 10:00 am at the Jacksonville Community Center. The instructor is Judith Jennings and the cost is $5 per class.
