Oxford, AL – Oxford residents are invited to take part in the next Downtown Litter Cleanup Day on Saturday, August 23, 2025. The community event will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with volunteers gathering at Simmons Park, located at 400 Main Street.
The cleanup is designed to bring the community together while keeping downtown Oxford clean and welcoming. All necessary supplies—including litter grabbers, buckets, gloves, and garbage bags—will be provided by organizers. Participants are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a positive spirit.
