Oxford, AL – Residents of all ages are invited to take part in the next Oxford Game Night, hosted by Oxford Parks and Recreation, on Tuesday, June 2, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This month’s event, themed “Island Vibes,” will take place at the Oxford Civic Center, Friendship Community Center, and Bynum Community Center. Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together through board games, card games, and social interaction in a relaxed and family-friendly environment.
According to Oxford Parks and Recreation, participants can expect a variety of games suitable for different ages and skill levels. Whether attendees enjoy competitive strategy games, casual play, or simply gathering with friends and neighbors, organizers encourage everyone to join in.
The event will feature island-inspired decorations and encourage attendees to wear tropical-themed attire. Participants who dress in island-themed outfits will have an opportunity to compete for a special prize.
Organizers are encouraging community members to attend with family, friends, coworkers, or on their own. No registration is required, and attendees may simply arrive and participate at any of the three locations.
Oxford Game Night is open to the public and aims to provide an opportunity for residents to unplug from technology, connect with others, and enjoy an evening of entertainment and community engagement.
