Oxford Performing Arts Center Announces Diverse 2025–2026 Season Lineup

2025–2026 Season at the Oxford Performing Arts Center!

Oxford, AL – The Oxford Performing Arts Center (OPAC) has officially announced its 2025–2026 season, presenting a broad array of performances that span multiple genres and appeal to a wide range of audiences. The new season includes nationally touring Broadway productions, concerts from iconic country and rock artists, comedy acts, classical music performances, family-friendly shows, and more.

Among the Broadway highlights are TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, Chicago, The Music Man, and Austen’s Pride, each scheduled to appear as part of the national Broadway tour circuit.

Bear and Sons

The season’s concert lineup includes acclaimed country performers such as Jamey Johnson, Joe Nichols, Shenandoah, and Mark Chesnutt. Rock and soul fans can look forward to performances by Cheap Trick, The Commodores, The Marshall Tucker Band, and tribute acts like The Fab Four, Natural Wonder (a Stevie Wonder tribute), and ABBA-Mania.

Comedy and entertainment will also be prominent, with shows from Larry the Cable Guy, STOMP, and long-time entertainers Frankie Avalon and Wayne Newton.

The Atlanta Pops Orchestra returns with its Bernardi Pops Series, including themed performances like Wizards, Warriors, & Wonders, Christmas with the Pops, The Pops in Paris, and 250 Years of Great American Music.

The season includes options for younger audiences as well, with shows such as Peppa Pig’s First Concert, The Cat in the Hat, Dinosaur World Live, and Lightwire Theatre’s The Ugly Duckling.

Chamber music lovers will be treated to performances by Cuarteto Latinoamericano, Schwarz and Bournaki, and Quartetto Gelato as part of the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama Chamber Music Series.

OPAC also introduced a value-driven 10×10 Series—ten shows with admission set at just $10 each. Full schedules and additional performances for spring are expected to be announced later this year.
