OXFORD, AL — The City of Oxford and Oxford Parks and Recreation will host an “Upside-Down Night Swim” on Tuesday, June 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oxford Pool, located at 401 McCullars Lane.
The themed summer event will feature an evening of swimming and activities inspired by a mysterious, retro-style atmosphere. Organizers say the pool will be transformed for the occasion with themed decorations, music, games, contests and special surprises.
Activities scheduled for the event include themed trivia, photo opportunities, contests with prizes, retro music and snacks. Attendees are also encouraged to wear 1980s-inspired swimwear as part of the event’s theme.
Admission is $2 per person. The event is open to the public.
Organizers describe the event as a unique summer experience designed to provide family-friendly entertainment while encouraging community members to enjoy the city’s aquatic facilities.
