OXFORD, AL — Historic Main Street Oxford will host the annual Christmas on Main celebration on Saturday, November 15, from noon until 6:30 p.m. The festive event will fill downtown Oxford with holiday spirit, live music, shopping, and family-friendly fun.
The holiday market will feature more than 50 artisan, craft, and food vendors, along with open house specials from participating downtown businesses. Visitors can enjoy free photos with Santa, as well as the popular Cookie Walk on Main at 1 p.m. Tickets for the Cookie Walk are $5 and must be pre-ordered. Participants can pick up their tickets at the Main Street tent before visiting 11 downtown locations to collect their cookies.
Entertainment will fill Simmons Park throughout the afternoon with performances by the Miss Oxford Volunteer representatives, His Word Global Methodist Church, the Oxford High School Jazz Band, and the Oxford High School Choir. The day will conclude with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m., led by Mayor Alton Craft.
Additional performances will also take place at Dodson Memorial Presbyterian Church from 4–5 p.m., featuring the Oxford High School Choir and a Nativity Reading.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to bring their families and friends to experience the sights, sounds, and spirit of the season. Organizers encourage everyone to shop local, enjoy the entertainment, and take part in one of Oxford’s most beloved holiday traditions.
