ANNISTON, AL — The City of Anniston Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a community-wide Food Drive throughout November 2025, encouraging residents to donate canned and non-perishable food items to help local families in need.
The initiative reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to service, guided by the message: “For I was hungry and you gave me food.” Donations collected will support community programs and assist individuals facing food insecurity as the holiday season approaches.
Multiple drop-off locations are available to make participation easy for residents. Donations can be delivered to Anniston City Hall or any of the following community centers: Carver Center, Norwood Hodges, Wiggins, South Highland, and the Aquatic Center.
The drive is part of Anniston Parks & Recreation’s broader mission of “Doing Good Things for People,” a motto that underscores their year-round dedication to serving the community through outreach, events, and public support programs.
