Oxford, AL — Alabama recording artist and community leader Chris Voice is once again bringing holiday spirit to life through his annual “Alabama Santa” initiative — a heartfelt movement that unites music, generosity, and community care.
Founded in 2018 by Chris Voice, Alabama Santa is a charitable initiative dedicated to helping Alabama familiesduring the holiday season through toy and turkey drives. The project blends music and philanthropy, inspiring others to give back through creativity and compassion. Over the years, it has become a beloved local tradition, with musicians, small businesses, and families coming together to make the holidays brighter for those in need.
Now celebrating its 6th year, Alabama Santa continues its mission to support Alabama families through toy drives, turkey giveaways, and acts of kindness that make a lasting difference across the state. Partnering with Powerhouse Recordings, the campaign encourages both artists and residents to give back while engaging creatively.
From October 17 through January 1, participants who purchase two hours of studio time at Powerhouse Recordings and bring either a new toy (minimum $20 value) or five canned food items will receive one additional recording hour free. Every donation helps provide toys for children and holiday meals for families in need across Calhoun County.
“It’s about using what we love — music — to give back,” said Chris Voice, founder of Alabama Santa. “When you can mix creativity with compassion, everybody wins. It’s not just about a free hour in the studio; it’s about making sure every child wakes up smiling and every family has a warm meal on the table.”
