Oxford’s Fall-O-Ween Celebration Rolls On with Car Show and Halloween Film Festival

Oxford’s Fall-O-Ween continues at Civic Center, OPAC

OXFORD, AL — The City of Oxford’s month-long Fall-O-Ween celebration continues this weekend with two unique events combining automotive fun and spooky cinema.

The inaugural Hallo-Wheels Car Show will take place Saturday, October 25, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Oxford Civic Center. On-site registration opens at 8 a.m. with a $20 entry fee. Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles and don costumes for the event, which will feature 12 award categories, a 50/50 drawing, more than $1,000 in door prizes, and swag bags for the first 100 registrants. Attendees can also enjoy sponsor booths, food and drink vendors, and a Boo Basket Raffle valued at $200 that includes local gift cards, fall-themed items, and tickets to The Terrortorium – Haunted House & Amusements.

Proceeds from the car show will benefit the 2025 Oxford Parks and Recreation Halloween Carnival, scheduled for October 31 at the Oxford Civic Center. For more information, contact Ashley Bias at 256-832-1561.

Meanwhile, the Oxford Performing Arts Center (OPAC) is joining the festivities with a two-day Halloween Film Festival featuring family favorites and classic thrills.

On Tuesday, October 27, the lineup includes Hocus Pocus (PG) at 5 p.m. and Jaws (R), celebrating its 50th anniversary, at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, October 28, audiences can enjoy Monsters, Inc. (G) at 5 p.m. followed by Wicked (PG) at 7:30 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each showing. Guests wearing pink or green to the Wicked screening will receive free popcorn.

Both the car show and film festival are free for spectators, offering residents and visitors a festive way to celebrate Halloween in Oxford.
