Highly-Anticipated Life Time Coldwater Trail MTB and Run Debuts in Anniston

Anniston, AL – This Friday and Saturday, October 24–25, Anniston will host the debut of the Life Time Coldwater Trail MTB and Run presented by Sunny King Auto, bringing two days of high-energy outdoor competition to Coldwater Mountain and downtown Anniston.

Set against the scenic backdrop of Coldwater Mountain’s world-class singletrack, the event will feature multiple race formats, including 50K and 100K mountain bike races and 15K and 50K trail runs. With more than $4 million invested in developing the mountain’s purpose-built trail system, participants can expect a challenging yet accessible experience suitable for all skill levels.

The event will welcome athletes from 34 states and Canada, transforming Anniston into a hub for endurance sports this weekend. Beyond the trails, spectators and participants alike can enjoy a festival-style atmosphere downtown, featuring live music, food vendors, and brand activations.

Coinciding with the city’s Neewollah celebrations, the weekend promises a blend of outdoor adventure and community fun, offering visitors a chance to explore Anniston’s growing recreation scene while enjoying its seasonal festivities.
