Anniston, AL – For those living with Parkinson’s Disease — and the loved ones who walk beside them — finding support and understanding can make all the difference. The Parkinson’s Disease Support Group of Calhoun County is helping to provide just that.
The group’s next meeting will be held on Thursday, July 17, at 12:30 p.m. at Interfaith Ministries, located at 1431 Gurnee Avenue in Anniston. The meetings are held every third Thursday of the month, and all are welcome. There’s no cost to attend, and lunch is provided.
Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive neurological disorder that can make everyday tasks more difficult — from walking and speaking to simply staying balanced. But while the challenges are real, no one has to face them alone.
Each meeting offers practical information on topics like medication, diet, and daily routines, along with the chance to connect with others who truly understand. Whether you’ve just received a diagnosis or have been a caregiver for years, the group offers a warm, welcoming place to learn, share, and feel supported.
