Cherokoee County, AL – A joint operation between the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and the Piedmont Police Department resulted in multiple arrests following a warrant service that led to a drug investigation in the Spring Garden community.
According to authorities, investigators and officers conducted the operation at a residence located off U.S. Highway 278 in the Spring Garden area. During the search of the home, law enforcement reported discovering approximately 4.5 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Firearms were also recovered during the search. Investigators stated that the homeowner is prohibited by law from possessing a firearm.
Five individuals were arrested in connection with the investigation.

All five suspects were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center following their arrests.
Sheriff Jeff Shaver thanked the Piedmont Police Department for its assistance and collaboration during the joint operation.
