The Piedmont Health Care Center completed in April of 2021, a new 6750 SF, 12-bed, all private room addition to their existing 85,000 SF facility. This addition increases our private room capacity to 45 total private resident rooms available in our skilled nursing facility.
The person-centered care model includes all private rooms with private baths and open therapy space for a home-like experience. The home-like scale of the addition offers a 12-bed household, designed to maximize staff efficiency while providing a smaller-scale experience in an environment created for residents to socialize and perform regular daily activities together.
The building exceeds the strict health and safety standards of the State of Alabama Department of Public Health while meeting the design and programming objectives established by the owners and leadership team.
