According to event organizers, the presentation will feature dinosaurs, chemical reactions, and exciting science experiments designed to engage young minds while making learning fun during the summer months.

Summer reading programs play an important role in helping students maintain and strengthen reading and learning skills while school is out of session. Many libraries across the country offer educational activities throughout the summer to encourage literacy, curiosity, and continued academic growth in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

Programs such as science demonstrations provide opportunities for children to connect reading with real-world concepts, helping foster an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.

The Summer Reading Program events at Piedmont Public Library are free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the educational opportunities available throughout the summer season.
