ANNISTON, AL — Families looking for a free summer activity will have an opportunity to enjoy weekly movie screenings at the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County.
The library is hosting its Free Children’s Movie Matinee series every Friday throughout the summer from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the library, located at 108 E. 10th Street in Anniston.
According to event information released by the library, children and their families are invited to attend the matinees at no cost. Guests are welcome to bring a sack lunch, and free popcorn will be provided during the screenings.
The library has indicated that movie titles will vary throughout the summer. Information about which film will be shown each week can be found on the library’s event calendar.
