Saftey Village

Anniston, AL – The Public Library of Anniston will host its annual Safety Village program beginning Monday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 108 E 10th St, Anniston, AL. The weeklong course is designed to teach essential safety skills to children ages 4 to 6 through interactive lessons, demonstrations, and real-life practice scenarios.

Running daily for five consecutive days, the program emphasizes the importance of recognizing safe versus unsafe situations. With guidance from instructors, participants will engage in hands-on learning that helps them understand how to react in emergencies or potentially dangerous situations. The course aims to give young children the confidence and tools to make safe choices when faced with unfamiliar or challenging environments.
