JACKSONVILLE, AL — Families will have an opportunity to meet and interact with a variety of animals when Redbird Willow Farm brings its traveling petting zoo to Jacksonville on June 12.
Hosted by the Jacksonville Public Library, the event is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the soccer field behind the Jacksonville Community Center, located at 501 Alexandria Road SW. Organizers noted that the event will not take place at the library itself.
According to the event information, Redbird Willow Farm will bring a selection of animals for attendees to learn about and interact with during the program. The event is designed to provide an educational and hands-on experience for children and families.
The event is open to the public, and organizers reported strong community interest ahead of the program, with more than 170 people indicating plans to attend or interest in the event through social media.
