Second Annual embRACE What Matters Family Event and 5k

Anniston, AL – On Saturday, May 13th Alabama Region 6 Mental Health Service Coordinators will host the Second Annual embRACE What Matters #MentalHealthMatters Family Event and 5k at 130 Summerall Gate Road, Anniston. This event runs from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Bring the family and enjoy a day at beautiful Fort McClellan. Come and be part of a family fun filled event to bring support and resources to the community. Food vendors, games, bounce houses, face painting, 5k, and fun for the whole family will be included.

5K registration –  Pay in person by cash, check, PayPal, or Venmo day of the race ($30).
Runner on-site registration and runner warm-ups begin at 6:30 AM at the Fort McClellan Aquatic Center front pavilion.
Race and games begin at 8:00.
Food trucks will be on site from 10:00-1:00.
Local support includes that from your school Mental Health Service Coordinators, School Social Workers, JSU Social Work Program, local mental health agencies and individuals, non-profit resources, local vendors and community supporters.
