Everyone is invited to the Jacksonville Public Safety Complex tonight for the Swearing-In Ceremony of Jacksonville’s new Chief of Police, Marcus Wood.

The event is scheduled from 4 pm to 6 pm at 911 Public Safety Drive in Jacksonville and there will be a reception with Chief Wood, his family and the Jacksonville Police Department Staff.
Tonight’s event is an open to the public meet and greet in the City Meeting Room and will include cake, light snacks, and punch. Everyone is encouraged to stop by meet the new Chief.
