On April 27th there is great opportunity to help your city AND help yourself. Below are are list of opportunities and services.
- Spruce up Jacksonville by collecting litter on our main streets. Registration at City Hall for cleanup assignments begins at 8:00 am.
- Drop off items at the Jacksonville-Piedmont Landfill FREE from 7:30 am – 11:00 am
- Bring items to City Hall for recycling, shredding, and trash collection (including paint cans) between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm
- Items which can be dropped off at City Hall for recycling include: cardboard, paper, plastic, electronics, (except for monitors and elisions), and aluminum cans (profits donated to local animal charities)
