Talladega, AL – The Talladega Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the murders of four residents. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers discovered the bodies of four adults inside an apartment located in the 1500 block of Old Shocco Road.
The victims were identified as Jeffreon Quejuantay Keith, 40; Querida Lenora Rachelle Flores, 30; Jamari Rashad Evans, 27; and Nicholas Lanod Keith, 44. All were residents of Talladega.
An active investigation is underway involving multiple agencies, including the Talladega Police Department, the Talladega County Drug and Major Crime Unit, the Talladega County District Attorney’s Office, and several federal law enforcement partners.
CrimeStoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest. Andrekious Evans, cousin of victim Jamari Evans, spoke with the Calhoun Journal to express the family’s grief and concern.
“This is not the community we know,” said Mr. Evans. “The family is still holding on, but the feeling we will never get used to.” He emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating, “The victims were loved and all had family members. This affects real life… Someone can’t do this and get away with it. We demand accountability.”
Authorities urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward to assist in bringing justice to the victims and their families.
