ANNISTON, AL – On Thursday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m., the Anniston Public Library will host the Travelin’ Tales Puppet Show, an engaging and educational event for children and families. The performance promises an exciting journey across continents—featuring stories from China, India, and North America—presented through colorful puppetry and dynamic storytelling.
This multicultural production weaves together three timeless folktales, each tailored to a young audience. While entertaining with imaginative settings and characters, the show also introduces important life lessons. Themes include the importance of honesty, the power of kindness, and the idea that strength doesn’t always come from size—reinforcing that “bigger isn’t always better.”
In addition to encouraging cross-cultural understanding, the show carries an anti-bullying message aimed at helping children understand empathy and respect for others. The event is part of the library’s continued effort to provide enriching programming that supports both literacy and personal growth for youth in the community.
Families are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating for what promises to be an educational and entertaining morning at the library.
