ANNISTON, AL — United Way of East Central Alabama is inviting the community to attend Boil for a Cause, a fundraising event designed to support local efforts to address homelessness through its United to End Homelessnesscampaign.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Sinclair Social in Anniston.
According to event organizers, proceeds will benefit Martha’s Hope and the broader United to End Homelessness initiative. The campaign focuses on providing resources and support for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in East Central Alabama.
Guests will be served a traditional Low Country Boil featuring shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes. The evening will also include live music from local band Highland Groove and opportunities for community fellowship.
Tickets are priced at $30 per plate, with organizers encouraging residents to attend, invite friends, and support the cause. United Way officials say each ticket purchased helps further local programs aimed at providing hope and assistance to those in need.
