Oxford, AL – Worlds of Work is set to return to East Alabama March 10–12, 2026, at the Oxford Civic Center, bringing together thousands of 8th and 11th grade students for a hands-on, career-focused experience.
The interactive expo is designed to introduce students to a wide range of career pathways through engaging, real-world activities. Participants will explore 11 different “career worlds,” representing more than 100 potential professions. The goal of the program is to help students make informed decisions about their futures, encourage continued education, and contribute to stronger graduation rates and workforce readiness across local communities.
Organizers are currently seeking volunteers to help support the three-day event. Volunteers will assist with event logistics, guide students through activity areas, and help ensure the overall experience runs smoothly.
A brief volunteer training session will be provided prior to the event. Training will cover the event layout, volunteer responsibilities, and assigned service areas. All volunteers must be at least 21 years of age. Those with dietary restrictions are encouraged to notify organizers in advance.
Worlds of Work is expected to draw thousands of students from across East Alabama, offering them direct exposure to career opportunities and industry professionals in a structured, interactive setting.
Individuals interested in volunteering can sign up here. The event will take place at the Oxford Civic Center.
