Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Requests Public Help in Solving Recent Property Crimes

Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating recent property crimes and is calling on the public for help. By encouraging community involvement, the Sheriff’s Office hopes to improve public safety and hold those accountable for these criminal activities.

Incident 1: Sometime between December 31st and January 7th a residence was broken into on WebstersChapel Road in Wellington.A Predator Auger, a Husky 450 Chainsaw, a Husky 455 Chainsaw, a 235L Husqvarna weedeater, a 235 Lincoln Welder, a Predator 3500 Generator, a DeWalt drill and battery, various Snap On tools, and a firearm were stolen.

Incident 2: Sometime on January 13th a vehicle on Possum Trot Road in Piedmont was broken into and medication was stolen.

Incident 3: Sometime between January 8th and January 21st a storage unit was broken into on Friendship Road in Oxford. The following items were stolen: A Shimano Mach 1 fishing pole, a Shimano LSD fishing pole, a Lews retractor, seven rod and reel combos with unknown descriptions, clothing and shoes, a Lews backpack, and a beer pong table.
