OXFORD, AL — Oxford Parks and Recreation will host its inaugural Women’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Oxford Civic Center from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event, presented with title sponsorship from Dillard’s Department Store, is being organized in recognition of International Women’s Month.
The daylong event is designed to provide a welcoming space for women to connect, explore resources, and participate in activities focused on wellness, creativity, and community engagement.
“We just wanted a space where women could come together, enjoy each other’s company, be a part of something different, feel supported, and even have some fun,” said PARD Recreation and Events Manager Ashley Bias.
More than 40 vendors will be set up inside the Oxford Civic Center gymnasium. Attendees will find a variety of local artisans as well as representatives providing information on women’s health and related topics.
In addition to vendor displays, organizers are planning a dedicated creative room where participants can spend time journaling, crafting, or reflecting. The space will be stocked with materials donated by sticker and stationery companies from across the country.
The first 150 attendees to arrive at the event will receive swag bags filled with samples from national brands. All attendees will also have the opportunity to enter for door prizes, with a total value of $1,500, provided by Dillard’s.
Food trucks and coffee vendors will be available on site throughout the day, offering a variety of refreshment options for guests.
Admission to the Oxford PARD Women’s Day event is free and open to the public.
The Oxford Civic Center is located at 401 McCullars Lane in Oxford.
