“AlabamaVotes.gov makes several important tools available to Alabama’s voters,” Allen said. “Before heading to the polls on August 26th, I would encourage Alabama voters to visit our website and verify their voter registration status and polling location. Voters can also review information on Alabama’s important photo voter ID requirements on AlabamaVotes.gov.”

Allen also addressed recent election integrity developments following the arrest of four individuals charged with absentee ballot harvesting. He reaffirmed his office’s commitment to assisting law enforcement in upholding state election laws.

“The Secretary of State’s Office remains vigilant in its pursuit of election integrity and the protection of your vote,” Allen stated. “Absentee ballot harvesting is not being tolerated in Alabama. These arrests send a clear message to those contemplating violating Alabama election law.”

Election Integrity Efforts

Allen has long advocated for legislation designed to strengthen election protections and limit third-party influence. He noted that Alabama law imposes penalties on individuals who violate election regulations and credited lawmakers for passing SB1, which he said reinforces that “Alabama votes are not for sale.”

Allen also expressed appreciation to the Phenix City Police Department, Russell County District Attorney’s Office, the Chambers County Sheriff’s Department, and the Chambers County District Attorney’s Office for their work investigating recent voter fraud allegations.
