OXFORD, AL – Enjoying the Oxford Festival of Lights this holiday season can also help support children in the community through a special toy drive partnership.
The festival is once again teaming with the Wynika Hendrix Insurance Agency – COUNTRY Financial to collect toys that will be distributed during Hendrix’s annual Santa’s Drive-Thru Toy Giveaway. The collaboration aims to provide a festive experience while helping ensure local children have a joyful Christmas.
Toy Drive Night will take place Monday, December 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Festival of Lights. Visitors who bring a new toy to donate will be able to drive through the light display for $15, with all donated toys going toward the upcoming giveaway event.
The collected toys will be distributed during Santa’s Drive-Thru Toy Giveaway on Saturday, December 20, beginning at noon at 1709 Hilyer Robinson Parkway, Suite D. Each child 13 years old and under who attends will receive one free toy, while supplies last.
The Oxford Festival of Lights is located at Choccolocco Park, 954 Leon Smith Parkway, and features seasonal light displays enjoyed by families throughout the region. Special promotions, including Toy Drive Night pricing, are available with payment at the gate.
