Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University has announced that more than 3,130 undergraduate students have earned recognition on the Fall 2024 Honors List, celebrating outstanding academic achievement across the student body.
Among the honorees, approximately 1,074 students were named to the President’s List for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA while completing at least 12 credit hours during the semester. In addition, approximately 1,305 students earned placement on the Dean’s List, having achieved a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99, also while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.
JSU also acknowledged the achievements of over 750 high school students enrolled in dual enrollment courses, who were recognized as Emerging Scholars for earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher while completing college-level coursework.
The university extended congratulations to all the students honored, highlighting their dedication and academic excellence.
Students who believe their name was omitted from the Honors List are encouraged to check their transcripts for the number of earned credit hours. It’s important to note that courses repeated or taken on a Pass/Fail basis are excluded from the 12-credit-hour requirement for list eligibility.
