Piedmont, AL — Authorities are investigating a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a juvenile late Friday night in Piedmont.
According to the Piedmont Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence on Friday, April 17, 2026, at approximately 10:51 p.m. in response to a report of a missing juvenile. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased juvenile inside the home.
Following an initial investigation, another juvenile has been taken into custody and charged with murder in connection with the case.
