Oxford Police Department to Host Public Safety Night Out During Fall-O-Ween Celebration

Public Safety Night

OXFORD — The city of Oxford continues its month-long Fall-O-Ween festivities with one of its most anticipated community events — the Oxford Police Department’s annual Public Safety Night Out. The event will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Oxford Exchange parking lot.

Residents are invited to meet local first responders and explore public safety equipment up close in an engaging, family-friendly environment. The evening will feature fun games, free food, snacks, and candy, providing a chance for children and adults alike to connect with the men and women who serve their community.

First responders from across the area, as well as several businesses, organizations, and city departments, will be on-site to participate. As an added highlight, the first 100 children to attend will receive a Toy Tahoe courtesy of the Oxford Police Department.

The event is part of Oxford’s larger Fall-O-Ween celebration, which spans multiple October weekends and includes themed events throughout the city. The evening aims to promote positive community relationships while offering fun and education in a relaxed setting.
