Oxford, AL – The Oxford Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile, Dakota Matthew Meachem, age 14.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Community Information Center, Meachem was last seen on October 3, 2025, leaving the area of Gunnells Lane in Oxford, AL. He has not returned home since. Meachem is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, faded jeans, and cowboy boots.
At this time, his direction of travel is unknown. Authorities urge anyone who may have information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Oxford Police Department at 256-831-3121 or call the department’s tip line at 256-835-6122.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Oxford Police Department continue to investigate and are encouraging the public to share any leads that could help bring Dakota Meachem home safely.
