The Calhoun County Chamber and Visitors Center is hosting a job fair to advertise positions available at local hotels and restaurants. Pop by the lobby of Pete Mathews Coliseum, 1-4 p.m., to enjoy a popcorn bar and to meet with employers seeking to fill current vacancies. 

Restaurateurs and hoteliers want to connect with students for internships, part-time and full-time employment, which may also lead to career paths within the Tourism & Hospitality industry.  Did you know that Tourism is one of Alabama’s top industries? 

The Spirit of Southern Hospitality is open to students and alum of all majors.  Here are the local employers confirmed to participate, thus far:

  • The Hampton Inn (Jacksonville and Guntersville locations)
  • Anniston Museum & Gardens
  • Courtyard by Marriott & Fairfield Inn
  • Cutter’s Pizza
  • ZMC Hotels
  • Sodexo 
  • Hubbard’s Off Main

There will be bottle water, individually packaged popcorn and other snacks provided; Pop in for Alabama careers!
